Y6 F1 trip 22.5.2026

This is reminder that the Y6 Formulae 1 trip will be taking place Next Friday 22nd May 2026

You have already completed the permission slip but to remind you about the day:

As there is a fair distance to travel, children will need to be dropped to school for 6.20am with the coach leaving school promptly at 6.30am. We will return home at 5pm and will update you if there are any delays. As this is a long day, please ensure that your child has had breakfast before arriving at school.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch and large soft drink plus extra snacks that are suitable for a long day (please nothing that contains nuts or nut spreads). If your child is entitled to free school meals, they will be provided with a school packed lunch for the trip however, I would strongly suggested sending extra snacks and a large drink. There will be a toilet on the coach however, for the safety of children, use of this will not be encouraged so please ensure that your child has used the toilet before they arrive at school.

Children may bring a small non-tech item such as a notepad and pen for the coach travel but please no tech or devices. Mobile phones will not be permitted and spending money will not be required.

Children should wear school uniform and a coat as well as comfortable trainers or shoes.

If your child will likely become travel sick, please ensure that tablets are taken in plenty of time before arrival at school. If your child will require a sickness tablet on return, please sign a form and hand in medication to the office BEFORE the day so that a member of staff can administer. We will not have access to the school office on that morning, therefore if a form has not been signed for sickness tablets, children will not be permitted to take them.

If you have any further questions to ask, please contact the school office.

Kind regards

Marie Berry
