Welcome to Bournville Primary School

I am delighted to welcome you to our school community and share what makes Bournville such a special place for children to learn, grow and thrive.

At the heart of our school is a commitment to caring for ourselves, each other and our community. Our values of being Ready, Respectful and Safe underpin everything we do, shaping not only children's learning but also the way they develop as kind, responsible and confident individuals. 

We are proud to serve children from the age of two through to eleven, supporting them throughout their learning journey in an environment where they are known as individuals and encouraged to achieve their very best. Strong relationships sit at the centre of school life because we believe every child should feel seen, heard and valued. When children know they belong, they develop the confidence to embrace challenge, take risks in their learning and celebrate their successes.

We believe that childhood should be filled with curiosity, discovery and joy. Play is an important part of how children learn, helping them to develop creativity, resilience and independence. Our classrooms, outdoor spaces and wild area provide rich opportunities for exploration, ensuring that learning is both meaningful and memorable. 

Alongside our ambitious curriculum, we place great importance on nurture and wellbeing. We understand that children thrive when their emotional needs are supported, and we work closely with families to create a positive foundation from which every child can flourish. Our dedicated staff are committed to helping children grow academically, socially and emotionally, preparing them for the next stage of their education and beyond.

Bournville is more than a school; it is a community. We value the partnership we build with families and believe that by working together we can provide the very best opportunities for every child. We are immensely proud of our children, our staff and the families we serve.
